Absolutely breathtaking!
1st of all, it's the sea shell collector's galore! Water is so gorgeous and clear and so turquoise! Waves are non-existent!
I had a wonderful time just walking along the shore, chasing the headlight- wood end light, i believe. I walked about 1.5 until i turned around. Such a beautiful scenery, pristine blue waters backed up by sand dunes, just breathtaking.
Besides the gorgeous scenery, the beach offers lifeguards, connections, showers, and restrooms. The parking, i believe, was $25 and included other parks as well, map included
Came here for a sunset dinner picnic on the beach. It's definitely the perfect spot. Unfortunately, many others thought so too. There were probably 15 other groups there to see the sunset, but they left fairly quickly and we found ourselves alone on the beach quite soon after official sunset.
Beautiful sunset 🤩
went there to see the sunset. It was worth it. From the parking lot, one could see splendid evening colors in the sky, and enjoy beautiful sunset 🙂 …
Stunning rock beach. Perfect for a walk in nature and a swim. We left our car in the parking lot and visited Provincetown after a 20-min walk along the not-so-busy road. Then we returned to Herring Cove by taking a detour into the marshes, and it was fantastic. It is a beautiful place, perfect for long walks (including with pets). $25 day-pass + photo ID per car and you gain access to all the national park beaches. There are restrooms and dressing rooms.
Beautiful beach and sand. Very relaxed in October. There were only a few people walking the beach.
Millions of perfectly formed skipping stones. Skip rocks and enjoy what may be the most beautiful beach and surely the best facilities in New England. Get a permit and have a fire or walk down to the pet-friendly area.
Beautiful beach, ok access to the water, clean bathrooms, plenty of places to sit.
My favorite beach in the United States. It is a stunning, peaceful respite in the summer months and a national treasure, with long, soft sandy beaches nestled tightly up against the dunes. It is a federally maintained property and an enormous wildlife refuge, especially for birds. Cycling trails through the dunes and foot paths into the neighboring forest are among the myriad ways to enjoy this park. I hope you will visit and enjoy the wildlife and surrounds that your tax dollars help protect.
